A vent tape made of a strong non-woven material is recommended to seal off the bottom edge of a multiwall polycarbonate sheet.
To ensure long-term light transmission, the top and bottom edges of a multiwall polycarbonate sheet should be sealed with high quality tape products to prevent water, dust, debris and bugs from entering the sheet’s flutes.
A vent tape made of a strong non-woven material is recommended to seal off the bottom edge of a sheet. Vent tape provides moisture-control and helps to maintain sheet clarity.
Note: Tape should not be exposed to the elements; cover it with flashing, ridge cap, or U-Profile.
