A solid aluminum foil-coated tape with an all-weather adhesive is recommended to seal off the top edge of a multiwall polycarbonate sheet.
To ensure long-term light transmission, the top and bottom edges of a multiwall polycarbonate sheet should be sealed with high quality tape products to prevent water, dust, debris and bugs from entering the sheet’s flutes.
A solid aluminum foil-coated tape with an all-weather adhesive is recommended to seal off the sheet’s top edge.
Note: Tape should not be exposed to the elements; cover it with flashing, ridge cap, or U-Profile.
